By invitation · Five practices

The Founding Practice Pilot.

We're inviting five independent specialty practices to be the first to have their authorization work run by Cleruno. Each pilot is customized to the practice, run directly by our founder, and complimentary for 60 days.

What founding practices receive.

The full desk, on one workflow, with more of our attention than any practice will get again.

A workflow customized to your practice

Your payers, approval rules, timing and handoffs, written down and agreed before a single case moves.

Setup handled for you

Scoping, payer setup, importing your current tracker and the parallel run are our job. Your staff don't learn a new system.

60 days of completed work

We work your in-scope cases for the length of the pilot, and you receive no invoice for any of them.

Our founder on your desk

The person running your pilot is the person building the company. You get a direct line and a short review every week.

Your numbers, measured properly

A baseline taken with you first, then weekly reports on staff time, accuracy, lapses and exceptions. The results are yours to keep.

A say in what comes next

Founding practices shape how the desk works. If you continue, your per-case price is held for six months.

At our published rates, 60 days of this work would run $2,400 to $8,600 for the example practices on our pricing page. For founding practices, it's complimentary.

What we ask in return.

A pilot only proves something if both sides take it seriously. We're looking for partners in getting this right, so we ask for a little of your time and your honest view.

  • A short baselineHow the workflow runs today, so the results mean something.
  • One named approverSomeone to decide exceptions. Clinical sign-off stays with your clinicians.
  • About 15 minutes a weekA short review of the numbers together.
  • Candid feedbackEspecially about what isn't working.
  • A reference, if it's earnedOnly with your approval, and only if the results justify it.

Who we're inviting.

Five places means we have to choose carefully. These are the practices a pilot is most likely to help.

  • IndependentOwned by its physicians or partners, outside a health system.
  • 4 to 25 cliniciansPhysicians and advanced practice clinicians.
  • An authorization-heavy specialtyOur focus is neurology, rheumatology, retina, gastroenterology and orthopedics. We also welcome ophthalmology, dermatology, pain management, allergy and other specialties where authorizations take up real staff time.
  • Enough volume to measureAbout 60 or more authorizations and renewals a month.
  • One workflow ready to hand overOften renewals for infusions, biologics or injection series, or new authorizations for procedures, surgery or imaging.
  • Someone who can say yesAn owner, partner or administrator involved from the start.

How places are offered.

Every place follows a workflow review. It's the fastest way for both of us to know whether a pilot makes sense.

  1. Request an invitation

Tell us about your practice and the work your team chases most.

    About a minute
  2. Workflow review

A conversation on how that work runs today and where it stalls. No preparation and no patient information needed.

    45 minutes
  3. Your invitation

If there's a fit, you receive an invitation and a one-page scope. If not, we'll say so and explain why.

    Yours to accept
  4. Customize and connect

We set the desk up around your payers, rules and handoffs. A business associate agreement is signed before we handle any patient information.

    We do the setup
  5. 60 days alongside your team

We run real cases in parallel first, then take over the agreed ones and report every week.

    Weekly review
  6. Your decision

Continue at our published per-case prices, or stop. Every open case comes back to you with its history.

    No obligation

Questions about the pilot.

What does the pilot cost?

It's complimentary. There's no fee for setup, for the parallel run, or for any case we complete during the 60 days, and no obligation to continue. Any fees your own vendors charge for access stay with your practice, and we'd flag those in the scope first.

Why is it complimentary?

Because we're early. We don't have customer results yet, and the most valuable thing we can do now is earn them with a small number of practices, measured properly. Your time and candid feedback are worth more to us than a fee.

Why only five practices?

We run every pilot ourselves, and each one has to be customized and watched closely. Five is the most we'll take on at the same time.

We're outside your focus specialties. Can we still request an invitation?

Yes. Neurology, rheumatology, retina, gastroenterology and orthopedics are our focus, and the examples on this site come from them. The criteria above decide an invitation, whatever your specialty. We'd build your workflow from your payers, case types and rules, as we do for every practice, and the review is where we'd both see whether it's work we can do well.

What happens after 60 days?

You decide. If you continue, our published per-case pricing begins, month to month, with prices held for six months. If you don't, every open case comes back to you with its full history and you owe nothing.

How is patient data protected during the pilot?

The same way it would be in any engagement. We sign a business associate agreement before handling any patient information, and you control access and can revoke it at any time. More on systems and security.

What if we're not invited, or the places are taken?

We'll tell you directly and explain why. You keep what we mapped together in the review. If the places are taken and the work is a fit, you can still start with us at our published per-case prices. If we don't think we can do your work well, we'll say so and we won't take it on.
